About DYFR Records When a few of The Hague underground labels wanted to bring out Baz Reznik his tracks he soon got frustrated about the politics behind it. Being an impatient guy who thinks he can do anything himself, he decided to start his own label. Bringing out only the music he likes the way he likes. No politics, no hidden agenda and a heads on mentality. Of course the release had to be on vinyl: if it's no vinyl release it's no release at all. Totally ignorant about how to do it he started to investigate. Everybody told him that digital releases are the future but he didn't care and was proven right. Although the DYFR releases are digitally available, the vinyl versions sell much better and are appreciated far beyond the borders of the Netherlands. The raw but slow The Hague electro, acid and techno sounds and the mastering of DYFR002 and 003 done by electro pioneer Rude66, made DYFR exactly what it was meant to be: DYFR: Do it Yourself, Fuck the Rest! | ||||

DYFR-002 Spank the Butler EP The second release on DYFR records label contains three tracks by Spank the Butler and a bonus cd with two remixes by Patrique and Baz Reznik. Three deep electronic music productions from the Dutch based producers of “Spank the Butler”. The first track “Sonic Ray” brings you a funky baseline after the long and epic two minute synthesizer intro. “The Lost World” is a dark track with a phat 808 baseline and screaming sounds. With “Bits & Bubbles” a subtle and organic techno track, not unlike Omar S, is delivered. The limited cd that comes with the record is to help those who are confronted with broken needles on ill-maintained turntables in clubs and contains two remixes of “The Lost World”. Beware that the ones with cd will be limited and for now will be sold through this site only! All this is mastered by nations favorite electro pioneer Rude 66. Order: DYFRrecords [at] gmail [dot] com (price: 10,- and we'll work out a way to ship as cheap as possible. Ordering DYFR001 and 002 together will give you a 10% discount on both!). DYFR-001 Out of your Head EP The first release on DYFR records label contains four tracks composed by Baz Reznik. Radiostar is a slamming acid / electro track with lyrics protesting agains the "star" culture kept up by various radiostations. A good track to be on the first DYFR (Do it Yourself, Fuck the Rest) pressing. With a phat 808 bassline and 303 like synth-lines this track is bound to blow you away. Stalking is a techno orientated track with a heavy acid-line which supports the dark lyrics. The first and last track of the record: The Beginning and Haunting, are instrumental tracks which complete the EP. As there are only 150 in stock, with the first 100 containing a free poster, be sure to grab one! Four other tracks of Baz Reznik are released on SD records. Order: DYFRrecords [at] gmail [dot] com (price: 10,- and we'll work out a way to ship as cheap as possible). If you want to be informed when the next one hits the road, join us on Facebook.
