Nordfolk nightwalk song on Kaossilator

The Nordfolk terrain in Scheveningen harbour has been abandoned for years. At day you can play some golf there but at night it turns into a strange spot with rather peculiar people hanging around.

Made on iPod with iKaossilator in one take & some shots done in Scheveningen Harbour.

Acid jam and closing filmfestival on Saturday

This Saturday Baz Reznik will close the Imagine Film festival with a dj set in the Kriterion theatre in Amsterdam. This will be mostly disco / funk and some jazz combined with soundtracks from all kinds of movies.

Some nice acieeed played at the Acid Fever party in 330Live last Saturday. Full place but unfortunately they still closed at 2.15 instead of 3.03 hours. Still the party was good. It doesn’t really happen often that I can open with my most heavy acid tunes between 23 and 0 without everybody leaving the party. After me came LI-Z, Stefan ZMK and Collision with some faster acid / core style. The opening mix (me vs Collision between 22 and 23) and my mix can be found here. Imagine Film Festival

Like the last few years Baz Reznik will again open the Imagine Film Festival in Kriterion – Amsterdam on the 18th of April with a dj set before and after the opening film.

The theme of the festival this year is superhero’s and there will be a career achievement award for Stan Lee. To bad that the master himself won’t be there to take it (he is 89 by now, maybe to much to ask).

This year Baz Reznik will not only open the festival but also close it on Saturday the 28th of April.

New live show premiere this weekend

This weekend the new Baz Reznik liveshow with vj Pixelshift will have its premiere on the Mashtival in Bink 5 hoog in The Hague. With Pixelshift Baz Reznik created a vj show that responds on the midi outputs of his instruments. Some preview material (recorded at a practice session so not quite perfect yet but you get the idea) can be seen in the movie below. Don’t forget to download the new album as well!

Scream from the Shore - Baz Reznik

Available from next week: DYFR005 – Baz Reznik – Scream From The Shore album. An album containing 15 Baz Reznik tracks and one Louis Guilliaume remix of the Syncom Data Records track: “Up”.

This album will be available digital only for now. Plans are to release some tracks on vinyl single, EP or even LP at some point but for now you’ll have to do it with this. To compensate for the lack of vinyl releases the short versions of the tracks will be available for download for FREE. That is right, for free. And I’m not talking about flimsy 128 kb versions but the whole .wav files.

Available from next week from various sources. I’ll post a link to the downloads next week.

Records from the Attic 4

A new / old records from the Attic show. It has been a month ago but I must admit I became a bit sloppy. I forgot a bit until I received an email about it (you know who you are! ).

A bit more danceable tracks in this one: going from funk to house to techno to acid but still all very good tracks to work with or vacuum the house or whatever you wanna do on a day like this.

On other news: the album is almost finished. I have to come up with a good title still and some nice artwork. Teasers will be posted here soon.
