The sun is out, time for goa trance
As probably being one of the most unlikely persons to like a trance mix, I was pleasantly suppressed when,
out of curiosity, downloaded the latest of the Bleep43 podcasts mixed by
Dave Mothersole. I came on the mix after reading his
article
on Goa trance.
As already stated: I hate trance. But after reading the article, which was a great peace on musical history,
I became curious. It turns out that even in India the Italo disco and Chicago house had his influence.
His trance mix is a insight in how the early goa dj’s used the instrumental parts of tracks to create
their own vibe. The mix has been on my (lost) Ipod ever since and when I will have the
new one it will be on it for sure!
